Remedios Varo

The first ever major museum exhibition in Europe of surrealist Spanish-Mexican painter Remedios Varo (1908–1963), where dream worlds and scientific exploration merge with magical thinking. On display are more than 70 works from her time in Barcelona and Paris and from her most productive period in Mexico in the 1950s and early 60s, along with drawings, notebooks and documentary material. Organized in collaboration with Moderna Museet in Stockholm.
