In her first major institutional exhibition, American artist Ayana V. Jackson draws inspiration from the mythic underwater world imagined by Detroit techno duo Drexciya to create a feminist, Pan-African aquatopia inhabited by water spirits from African and Afro-Atlantic traditions.
