Critical Views: Recent Acquisitions by the Department of Arts of Global Africa & the Diaspora

The AGO’s department of Arts of Global Africa and the Diaspora is pleased to present Critical Views, a selection of recent acquisitions by contemporary artists. Featuring works by Kimani Beckford, Paul Anthony Smith, Natia Lemay, Jan Wade, Alison Saar, Sandra Brewster, Sahara Longe and Che Lovelace, this installation illustrates their distinct ways of expressing a multiplicity of histories, identities and cultural perspectives from the African diaspora.
