Steve McQueen: 66–76–26

The artist, filmmaker and screenwriter Steve McQueen (b. 1969), based in London and Amsterdam, explores personal and collective themes through moving images. The physical conditions of vision, the scale of projection, sound, light, and the relationship between the viewer and the space, are as fundamental to his work as the environment itself, giving his practice a distinctly sculptural quality.
