Kenny Scharf

As part of the programme devoted to the Blanca and Borja Thyssen-Bornemisza Collection, the museum presents an exhibition on Kenny Scharf, a prominent member of New York's 1980s East Village scene and a pioneer of contemporary urban art. His work blends popular culture and Surrealism in what he calls Pop Surrealism.
