SIGNA returns to NORDWIND with its first visual art installation in Germany. ICH LÜGE, UM ZU WEINEN transforms the Hubertus Wald Forum at the Hamburger Kunsthalle into an exhibition landscape of tableau-like scenes, somewhere between an ethnographic museum and a walk-through fiction. SIGNA explores disguise and transformation as strategies of deception and survival, and examines how femininity takes shape, shifts and disguises itself in order to assert itself within social orders.
